A Bit of This, A Bit of That Too

“A Bit of This, A Bit of That” was Kinta Valley Wind Orchestra's first collaboration with the klpac Symphonic Band back in 2014.  The event was an unforgettable concert experience leaving our KL audiences spellbound.

Nine years have passed since the first concert, and Kinta Valley Wind Orchestra is proud to announce the two community bands  joining hands again to bring the same magic to Ipoh. Our Second Instalment of this memorable collaboration this year: entitled “A Bit of This, A Bit of That Too” 

Ok, if you think the concert title isn’t very innovative, we will compensate by featuring various styles and genre of band music. We definitely have something exciting planned for our beloved audience.  This year's concert promises to be even more spectacular, with a fresh lineup of performers and new pieces to delight audiences. Fans of orchestral music will not want to miss this unforgettable experience, which will showcase the very best of Malaysian musical talent.

To top it all off, we are honoured to collaborate with the klpac Symphonic Band, a premier community wind band from Kuala Lumpur, sharing the same vision and mission as KVWO. Under the direction of Resident Conductor and Music Director, Cheryl Mah, the band has performed a vast array of band music, ranging from anime theme songs, to evergreen classics and folk songs. 

“A Bit of This, A Bit of That Too”  is a charity concert co-organised by Persatuan Alumni Ave Maria Convent Ipoh and all proceeds will go towards supporting the Lighthouse Hope Society, a NGO  serving the hungry, homeless and helpless regardless of race and religion since 2006.

We are definitely looking forward to sharing this musical event with our Ipohite fans and friends.  Please show our colleagues from KL that Ipohites can be almost as enthusiastic about arts n music, as they are about food !
