Join us for a captivating evening of music with the sparks between east and west!
Friction between friction. The sharp, rhythmic snaps of Piazzolla’s tango rub against the soft, floating dreaminess of Debussy, then melt into the vivid, powerful melodies of contemporary China. Across it all, the metallic pluck of the GuZheng cuts through the warm, smooth bow of Western strings, piano, and percussion.
Moving from the passionate streets of Buenos Aires to the dramatic legend of a masked warrior prince, East and West pull, push, and respond—finding their common ground inside the dialogue.
